LOVE IN THE AGE OF CLIMATE
In a multimedia guided tour of the ancient theatre of Aegeira, tour guides, activists, and lovers invite the audience to navigate through different stations within the archaeological site. Through a fusion of music, poetry, visual arts, performances, and installations, visitors embark on an experiential journey against the backdrop of an increasingly fragile planet.
GYNAEKOKASTRO
Α new rêvealistic spacetime lush with fantasy, myths, and pagan echoes, composing an orgiastic amalgam of realism and surrealism. Lena’s transition shakes her relationship while she gets entrapped in a commune where only women, kerchiefed Amazons, live autonomously. The world as we know it ends, a post-apocalyptic sterile membrane covers everything, women become children, and children become genderless beings. Life now begins.
FYLOXENIA
"Fyloxenia" playfully dives into the intersection of butlerian gender performativity and deleusian hospitality, tracing its roots from ancient Greek traditions to its academic dissections questioning mainstream narratives. Exploring power dynamics inherent in the roles of “host” and guest, the work transforms familiar digital motifs—from the simulated realities of games like 'The Sims' to the transient connections of dating apps—into a dystopia reminiscent of a sci-fi film.
PAPADAKIA:
KISS FOR EQUALITY
Artivism is a portmanteau word combining art and activism. The Kiss for Equality campaign in Greece recognised the revolutionary power of a kiss in the struggle for equality. The kiss exists in every culture. It symbolizes love and support and is a profound way for artivists to say, "I am with you."
AXINOS
A visual poem based on the first poem, namely "axινός" (aka sea urchin in Greek) from my poetry collection “meraklina|koukibiberissa|obladi”, which aims to revolutionise tradition and frame society’s response to current gender, equality, inclusion, and belonging narratives by re-shaping collective memory.
